Have seen a few references to Adults Only section ie as a place to download manuals etc. How exactly does one find this section?

Along time ago, it a galaxy far far away, there might or might not have been manuals in that section.
But now in the time of laywers, copywright laws etc. If you want a manual you have to buy one.

The nice thing about the manual downloads, is you have them on your computer, or CD, or thumbdrive, whatever you want to save them on, and you have it. Forever, no more downloading each time you want to look up something.
Then, you just print the pages you NEED at the moment. No one ever needs to print out 600 pages, they will NEVER need to use all of them.

Sure it's possible, the drive manual is here for the engine, going to need a SN for your engine. You may have a 2002 boat, but the engine may be older, or even newer. Might as well get the right one. Same with parts, the SN is everything, Merc does not go by year on anything, only aftermarket stuff goes by year, and if you don't know what the engine year is, you get the wrong part.

That serial number is for a 2001 engine, not 2002. That is why we always ask for SN. The year of your engine can be different than the year of your boat.

You need manuals #24 for the engine, and #14 for your outdrive. The above link has both.

I believe have the right manuals for my engine and drive - (got them off the adults only section ) but since you mention serial #'s I'd like to make sure.... my engine serial number is 0K032657 my drive serial # is 0K089323 transom serial #0K136148 thanks for any help.
By the way let me say I love this site- very helpful people and a wealth of info
