so ..... I really hate doing wiring.. here is the problem, a customer asked me to check out this motor. After removing the engine cover, saw that almost every wire .... harness, ignition, and magneto wires are completely exposed (rotten plastic sheathing). I thought there is no way this motor is gonna run. Right?... Well ...with customers permission I put it in water tank hooked up a fresh battery and turned the key ... it fired right up no issues... he wants me to do something with the wires ... cant seem to find a harness for this anyone got any ideas as far as kits available. I kinda wanna coat them in that liquid tape crap and put them in plastic sleeves... also remember this guy is cheap replacing these wires (if possible) one by one could take all day .... any thoughts? I really like to help folks out but this one kinda sux.

Try these folks:

If the guy wants the wiring repaired/replaced then charge him accordingly. Customers being "cheap" do not pay for heat and lights. Charge what the job requires and let him know why it costs as much as it does. Don't beat yourself up over this. He bought the engine to you because he doesn't have the skills to do it. He cannot expect someone who does to do it on the cheap just because he is.
