Advice on Shift Cable for Volvo DP-M

Doing an Outdrive swap from a ALPHA to a Volvo DP-M and all was going well until I got to the shift cable. The old cable has a black plastic end and the Volvo uses a threaded end which goes through a hose and connects to the outdrive shift lever. I spent the last couple hours on the web looking at cables and I'm more confused than when I started. I have a typical side control set up on the boat. Any advice on which brand/type cable works. I know I need to get the length correct for my boat, just looking for a cable I can go with. Thanks in advance

The only "recommended" cable is the Teleflex TFExtreme cables. You already know about length, you'll need to find one with Volvo ends of it. Check the cable end at the shift control as well.
