I pulled the old pump that didn't work on the thru hull. I bought a Sea flo areator with the same OD pipe. Obviously the black and white pvc ate just different enough the pvc threads don't match up.
Originally it was flush with the bottom and now requires a nut.

Options?

Threaded thru hulls are designed to terminate at seacock. They are threaded purposely threaded NPS to discourage their use as plumbing fixtures which have NPT threads.

You need a NPS to NPT adapter if they even make one because of the safety issues.
