With a 25hp 4 stroke, will you feel a difference with the same pitch and size SS prop over the stock aluminum prop? I have read they are more efficient, but is it a noticable difference?

Really doubt the expense would be worth the effort. A SS on an engine of that HP is just overkill. You don't even have enough HP to bend a blade if you hit something.

It is said that if you boat where soft contact with (mud or sand)is likely a ss prop may hold up better than aluminum.
There are props like the Turning Point Hustler that may produce ss like performance.

Unless you compare same brand and model, you can not tell. Generally speaking, a stainless in the same size, brand, and model will turn a bit faster than aluminum because of the polish and blade thinness.

However, an example: A Ballistic stainless prop because of the aggressive rake and cup, plus generous blade area will turn slower than a stock aluminum prop and yet possible give the same or greater speed.

And, as stated above: Some well made aluminum props will deliver stainless like performance.

There is always a measurable improvement when going to a stainless prop. Whether or not that will be noticeable to you will depend upon the application, as well as your knowledge and experience.
