Hello everyone I am new here and have a question. First let me tell you what motor I have. (1995 Mercury 225 carb motor).I just got boat back from getting it serviced about a week ago.I had all seals replaced in lower unit it had never been done before and new water impeller, Motor Decarb they used a Mercury engine tuner product,Had plugs replaced and a general service done. plug type NGK BPZ8H-N.<br /> <br /> Before I brought boat in it ran great but since I do alot of slow trolling I thought it would be wise to have the above done.I was going to go to the lake this weekend so I put on the muffs an cranked her up pisser works like a fire hose . Motor started great and I let It warm up about five minutes.It runs fine at idle and up to about 1200 rpms but I gave it a little throttle to about 1500rpms and it starts to stumble or like it is missing.I tried this a four or five times and the same thing happens each time.I let the motor cool down and looked at the plugs and they looked like they were all fouled with med dry carbon. I wonder if it was decarbed with the new plugs? <br />Anybody have any thoughts? Should I try new plugs? Puzzled ??
