After Market Hirel MPI Fuel Injection

I'm trying to find some information for an after market MPI fuel injection system that was installed on a boat I recently purchased. It is a 1989 Sea ray 210 BR with a MerCruiser 5.7l. First trip out it stalled and I was dead in the water. Only after I disconnected and reconnected the battery it started and run fine. Does anyone have experience with the Hirel system.

That is a very old system be prepared to switch to a carb think in the area of 2500 for a new system, unless that is your well versed in efi and there's a boat graveyard nearby.

Called Holley and they sent me the installation manual and trouble shooting guide. Some parts are interchangeable with current stuff.
