If you have access to a milling machine, you can "clean" them up but if you have to pay someone to do it, it might be cheaper to just get BARR, OSCO, or OEM......

Ayuh,.... On mine, I hada machine .020" off the tops so's the gasket Surfaces were flat enough to hold a gasket,...

The inner gasket surface was .020" Below the outer gasket surfaces,....

Barr is a good product USA made, just buy the OEM Gaskets.....
