The cabin headlining in my boat has yellowed due to age. What type of paint , (and Primer) would be best to use? I realize this may be hard to answer since I have no idea what type of plastic this is.(boat is no longer in production) I don't think it's fiberglass and is roughly 1/16 inch thick. TIA

They have fabric and vinyl dyes that may work here. Look into SEM brand and others. A good prep, adhesion promotor and a few good coats should do the trick.

a) rough up the surface w/ a scotchpad.
b) wipe it down with denatured alcohol.
c) prime it with Zinser Bullseye 1-2-3. It will adhere to plastic. It will last too.
d) top coat with latex or oil. I like good 'ol Rust oleum oil paint in satin white.

by all this stuff at any of the home improvement stores & walmart. It is all sold in quarts too for smaller jobs.
