<vent><br />I'm a Material Coordinator for a comunications company.... Work out of our warehouse<br /><br />We got 2 boxes from las vegas... 147 lbs each! Max weight of each box fedex will deliver is 150 lbs<br /><br />Inside each box, 3 SERVERS. just a little big of bubble wrap around them. Aprox $15K total in equipment. Pick one up, and the cards are rateling aorund inside.<br /><br />Is it not that obvious that ya can't expect something like that to survive?<br /><br />When the driver was here, I was going to help him lift it out of his truck onto my dock... he said "This one is D@mn heavy, I'll roll it" .... as did everyone else along it's 1500 mile journey.<br /><br /></vent>

YIKES!! I do hope you had them insured,open the boxes in the presence of the deliverer and let him make a note of said damages,then file an imediate complaint with Fedex.

Nope.<br /><br />Isuficient packing... insurance claim would be denied in a second. (and we don't insure our packages anyway)<br /><br />Fedex, ups... all of em have rules on how to pack stuff.... and this sure wasn't it

the lowest price is not always the best value.<br />I ship puters around the world, but never cheap<br />on shipping/handling. shoulda been 2 pallets, but<br />that costs extra and requires OTR handling, not<br />fed-ex/ups...
