I was woundering if anyone could tell me the fuel mixture for this motor. Also, there is A seperate fuel tank from the motor, but there is a filler cap on top of the motor too. Is this for oil or what? If its for oil, what kind do I use? Thanks, jim
Anyone know I could getminfo on this motor?
I would like to know the year too.
MN 1727A
SN 150481

I answered your guestion and it somehow ended up under "70 Johnson wiring quiz."
Any way your motor is built by Eska and uses
a Tecumseh power head it is aircooled and the
exhaust leg is water cooled. Most likely the motor has a built in gas tank as well as a
remote.See if you can find a model number for
the motor and the power head.Cant tell much without.

Ahoy, Jim.

The Tecumseh air cooled powerhead is derived from their chainsaw engines.

The correct oil is chainsaw oil, not TC-W3, to accomodate the higher temps. Depending on the model and seller's recommendations, you need either a 16:1 or a 24:1 mix.

Good luck. :)
