air leak merc 1150?

just had carbs and f/pumps rblt. <br />Orig. problem, top speed was only 25-30 at WOT, RPM's? tach. bad.<br />took out to load test yesterday and after 10-15<br />seconds, it starts to lose power and primer bulb<br />is soft. Suspect air leak??? Fuel tank and pick-up<br />hoses are new as well as primer bulb and line.<br />did use the old quick connect though.....<br />is there an O ring inside motor qick connect? all hoses appear <br />to be good, but will probably just install new<br />ones as they are 30yrs old.<br />as always, thanks in advance for your input!<br />regards,<br />M.Y.
