Good morning all.
I changed the transmission cooler on my port engine. No cooling issues prior to.
After installation, no water is flowing through system.
I checked impeller and it did not burn or show any signs of damage. As expected, it was still wet when removed.
Checked water flow from inlet. Fine. Tried running the boat twice now.
Reved engine up a bit to try and force the air out. Engine heats up quick so I have to shut it down soon after starting
I tried back flushing the system with a garden hose connected to the cooler. I heard what sounded like a few air bubbles but still no water flow when I started the engine.
Is there a way to bleed the raw water system?
