Al-queda operative tetifying against soldier?

I read on msn.com that one of the al-queda prisoners that was suposed to testify in the prisoner abuse trial is supposed to testify against the soldier that did the abusing. Anybody see a problem with this? I'm not questioning whether the abuse is acceptable or not, or whether it should be punished, I'm questioning whether the al-queda operative should be testifying against a U.S. soldier.<br /> This is someone who has sworn to bring harm to America and her people. They hate us, and yet he is testifying in court against a U.S. soldier? Incredible. Can anything he says be believed?

I think the Court will take his probable credibility into account.

who confirmed his al-queda status?. did he have a court trail to see if he was accused or confirmed. and if he was abused he has the right to testify. its why we are fighting in the first place.<br /> but i am with JB, his status will be taken into consideration.

If they didn't take prisoners they would not be able to testify!!!! After Abu Garcia the soldier must not be to smart and deserves what he gets from a court martial if there is one!!!<br /><br />I woldn't want to be a soldier today, I'd be afraid to fire my weapon!!!!

In our justice system all sorts of criminals are frequently called upon to testify, sometimes in favor of the prosecution, sometimes in favor of the defense, i'm not saying whether this is good or bad, but since i'm not privi to all of the evidence, i would let the court do its job.<br /><br />BTW FlyRod, leave Abu Garcia out of it

I can't find the article now, but it was on msn. He was on the top 50 most wanted list. I checked my browser history and this http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/9893201 <br />is the article I read, but it's been changed. They must have updated it. It dosn't say anything about him testifying. But he's the one who was going to testify in the version I read earlier.
