Alarm is going off on my 93' 50 horse Merc

An intermitent alarm(beeping) is going off on my 93' 50 horse Merc. It's almost like a low oil warning but the tank is full. Is my oil pump bad? I put oil in the tank just to be on the safe side and then pulled the plugs and it seems to be running really rich(like my oil pump is functioning properly). It is pissing plenty of water so that is good. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated!

Opener is only 5 days away please help!

I had a similar problem with my '91 90 horse. Check the oil level sender. Take off the cowling and disconect the wiring to the sender located on the bottom of the oil tank. Test engine and see if alarm has stopped.
