Hello All
I have a 90 HP Mariner Motor.Year is 1994
When the motor is running, The alarm buzzar has a interrupted sound. Book says this is low on oil.
The Oil tank is full. Boat has not been started for about 2 years until last weekend. I ran it for a very little while but the buzzar will dirve you crazy.
Any Ideas?
Travis

Re: Alarm Problem?

is there air in the oil line between the 2 tanks? if so the tank in the motor is not being fed and you will have to bleed it to get the buzzer to stop.

I have a mercury 150 that has a small tank on top of the motor and another underneath the center console and recently had this problem but after bleeding the air out the alrms stopped...

Disconnect the wires on the bottom side of the oil tank. Recheck to see if the horn stopped. This is a common problem with sticking of the float in the tank or bad sensor in the tank.
