First time posting so I appreciate any response. I am new to Volvo Penta and I/O boats but I just bought a 4.3 GL with the sx stern. Cleaned it up last weekend and while I was in there hooked up the battery to listen to tunes and when I turned the key to the on position an alarm came on it was coming from what looks like a fuse box attached to the port side exhaust manifold anyone know what that is? Also forgot to get the plugs from winterization from previous owner so what size do I need or where can I purchase new ones both block and exhaust manifold. Thanks for the help.

It's an alarm horn. Low oil pressure or high engine temp.
What's the full model number of your engine, or your serial number.

So does that alarm sound every time you start the boat because the engine wasn't running so impossible to have low oil pressure or high water temp or is something tripped and need to be reset? Forgot to get model serial #'s when I had it uncovered, 2 feet of snow in last 3 days here in Denver so I will get back in it this weekend.

You had ZERO oil pressure with the key on and the engine not running, that is really low.
When the key is in the run position the alarm system is activated and thinks the engine should be running.
