Alarms on DT140 suzuki

Hi All,
Hope I someone can help...just bought an old Whittley Impala with an oil inject and just replaced the impellor and casing ..due to it sitting for 2 years. It now pumps heps of water but I am still getting an alarm at full throttle. I thought it may be an oil line cracked and losing pressure? (there is some clean oil in the case) and am unsure as to what alarms are what and how many there are. It doesnt sound the alarm at start up..could this be a faulty water flow sensor or needs cleaning ? If so where is it ? Any help would be appreciated.

There is a flow sensor in the oil pump. If there is inadequate flow this will give an alarm. You say you have fresh oil showing in the case. Do the obvious first.See if you can find an oil leak in the feed to the oil pump. If oil has been sitting in the tank for some time it could have congealed so blocking the pump. As a precaution run the motor from a jug of 50:1 mix while you are testing. This will prevent damage from lack of lube. To move the tank so that you can see disconnect the connector that carries the oil level signal and ease the wiring of the level float back thru the manifold. Remove the clamp that holds the tank in place and ease the tank forward to clear the area for inspection.Wipe out all the oil from the case and watch as you run the motor. You can disconnect the pump actuator rod from the carb and hold the rod so as to put the pump in wide open condition. This will create maximum demand for oil from the tank and may help in leak finding. Remember to reconnect when you are done.
