Alcohol stove leak

i have an alcohol burning stove in my galley with 2 burners. one of the burners runs perfectly, while the other has a leak. i can clearly here a leak in the threads somewhere, and the flame produced in quite large (1ft high.) how can i go about properly sealing this problem?

I used to have one of those. I had to rebuild it often. Pull the offending burner
apart and clean it real well. I would etch mine in diluted muriatic acid, and then
polish it up. The problem is probably dirt in the threads. Check for cracked fittings. Some fuel rated sealing tape might help. Post some pics. GH
