alignment method

Can anybody tell me where I can find detailed Engine alignment instructions and any tricks of the trade that might help me with my Alpha one, Gen 1 connected to small block chevy. I have the alignment tool allready.

It should slide in easy.Put some grease on the alignment tool and look at the marks left in the grease from the splines in the coupler.They should be even all around.
Any adjustments are done by the front motor mounts.

Ayuh,.. What Gary said....

If this is a Fresh Install,....
Eyeball it 1st,+ decide if it's even Close,...
Sometimes it's quite obvious,+ the bearing needs to be shifted in it's gimbel....
And sometimes a good bit of Muscle is necessary on the end of the bar to get it right...
Then adjust the motor for Fine Tuning with alot of Grease for easy reading....
