Almost forgot how much fun it was!

Finally got the time to take the boat out for the first time this year. With the boat restore and motor rebuild and a pregnant wife and moving in a new house this was the first time we got the boat out since October of last year. She started right up and ran all morning just a beautiful as she could. NOT A SINGLE PROBLEM. Just some tweeks on the newly rebuilt carb and off we went. The wife and kids and my dad. Other than the waves from the other boaters, the lake was calm and the wind made us forget it was 95 degree outside. Can't wait to get back out there. Going to have to set aside some time every weekend to go out. Happy boating to all.

Good to see that..........I saw the lake and how nice it was, didnt get out there......my project splash this weekend had some issues.. I have a 3.7L and the distributor is shot.........my own fault thow should have taken time to better inspect it while i was rebuilding it.....got a new gear for it ordered and hope to get out on the lake this weekend. By then of corse the water will kick up and wont be all that much fun. Thats my luck any way.......always got the good old Maumee River thow!
