Almost sure it's the starter.....

Dewinterized my boat over the 4th of July weekend and started it up no prob. Ran it for 10 to 15 min. (with the water hooked up) then shut it to do an oil change. After the oil was done went to start it again and all I got was a single "click." tried again and same thing. I went and got my truck battery hooked that up and same thing. I had the starter refurbished last fall, kinda thinkin I got screwed. Any thoughts?

Almost forgot it is a 1995 to 96 3.0 OMC Cobra.

I would thoroughly check your cable connections first.

sounds like a bad connection.

also, you can always take off the starter and bench test it for free at autozone.

Click or clunk? If its more of a clunk it is possible that you have water in your cylinders that is hydrolocking your motor.
