Alpha 1 Gen 2 lower shift bushing question

I'm pretty sure the fluid leak my '03 Alpha 1 Gen 2 drive developed this season is caused by a leaking lower shift bushing. I see there are two different bushing kits available. One has just the bushing itself and the other one has the bushing plus a couple of o-rings, a zip tie and what looks like a new fitting for the speedo hose. I'm guessing that I need the latter one since my '03 still has the original bushing and my understanding is that the design has changed and the speedo fitting is different.

Also, are there any tips I need to know about replacing the bushing? I have the service manual saved as a PDF but have not looked at it yet.

The design was changed in the late 90's. If you have the quick disconnect for the speedometer cable already, then you don't need the full kit, but you do need the orings to mount the busing on the drive.
I hope the two kits are OEM, I wouldn't suggest you use an aftermarket bushing.

Go by serial number of your drive.

Perhaps it's time you looked.

Ya think? Of course I'm going to look - just asking now if there is anything I need to know that might not be in the manual. Thanks for all the help.

No, it's a very easy job. But look at the manual first.
