Alpha 1 gen 2 Studs

I have an Alpha 1 gen 2 bell housing and gimbal . I am sure it was not original on my boat . The boat has 8 holes in the transom. The gimbal has 6 studs. My question is should I order the other 2 studs for the unit , or just install it as is.

Ayuh,..... If the housing has the holes for 'em, Yes, put 'em in,....
