Alpha 1 gen?

88 sea ray with 4.3 engine but wondering if it’s an alpha 1 gen 1 or gen 2 on the outdrive. Is there a way to tell?

Ayuh,..... The Gen.IIs didn't come out til '91, so the odds are ya got an Alpha 1,......
