Hey guys I'am back again..picked up u-joint today from the yellow brick road list but it will not fit little to big ....the serial # on my leg is B851398 anyone here know the u-joint number for this leg and then need a match for it...
if i was doing the job your trying to accomplish and it was giving me grief like your getting. i'd just go get the proper oem part and move on with the project. might spend more, but your level of grief will do down.. the grief level (or lack of)can be worth dollars imho..
They were to long could not get the clips on them.
I`m sure there acceptable because I use them, You may have jammed a needle roller sideways instaling them, ask me how I know.First I remove the cups and grease then making sure all the needles are in place. I insert the cross first, press 1 cup in first to the snapring groove, slide the cross into that cup, install 2nd cup presing in untill the snap ring.Its VERY EASY to dislodge a needle and jam the cup.
