Alpha 1 water hose

Ok from the lower water pump there is a 3/4 or so hose that is routed up to a white plastic elbow into the transom, What is involved in replaceing this hose?

Looks like may have to remove lower unit.

You can download the service manual for the drive from this page - http://forums.iboats.com/showthread.php?t=288430. If you look at the process to change the impeller it covers the details on this.

I did this job 2 months ago for the first time, it wasn't that bad, use this site for help and info just do some reading first to get a understanding of how it all comes apart and back together. This is a good time to replace bellows,shift cable,gimble bearing, and u-joints if there good at least shoot them with some grease. Good luck!

I Agree chetah90, But not my boat,My friend who thought I could work on it,Yes while you are in there replace all the rubber,and anything of ????.

Got tied up today and did not have time to do the transon rubber onsomble.
will try tommorrow so you have some visual references.
