Alpha one gem one trim tab bolt?

The trim tab was missing on my boat when I bought it. I got a tab but need the bolt. Anyone know what size and thread bolt I need?

If your wanting to source one locally at say a hardware store, it's stainless and a 7/16" dia x 1-3/4" long but I'm not sure you could find the right length. Take the tab with you to check the threads.

For about 3 bucks you can find them all over online MC part # 10-32470 - SCREW

You might as well order an impeller kit while you're at it. Have to split the drive to put the bolt in.

That's not correct, the bolt just drops in the hole at the end of the gear case above the prop. I would however order an new plastic plug for the hole.

I assure you that bolt DOES NOT fit through the hole. It's captive.

Hole was drilled out so the bolt can be removed at some point in the past, this one will drop in. Already did the impeller yesterday ;-). Thanks for the info waterman.

Guess the anode bolt fairy with the drill visited my A1G1 too. They were good at covering up the drilling, I can't even tell.
