I have a generation 1 alpha one and oil coming out of the weep drain hole. I pressure tested it and plugged the oil seal hole doesnt lose air. When i hook up a hose to the weep hole and blow into it air comes out of the shift shaft seal.area. Does that mean that the shift shaft sea;l is bad. Its only 2 year old brand new unit. When I took it apart I noticed that 2 of the lower unit and ipper unit nuts werent on the unit to hold it together.wouold that have caused an issue?

that hole is there to drain that cavity, most fill with derbis and can crack the case. Seeing oil means you have a leak. Upper driveshaft seals, shiftshaft seal, waterpump base seals What was holding to together then? The 2 nuts between the upper unit and lower unit that you need a wrench that is in a tight space was ther. but the two where you see them on the bottom closer to the rear of the unit where a socket can take off were the one wasnt there and the other was loose.
