Hi guys.
I have a 95 Rinker with a 350 magnum and alpha one (drive s/n 0f287274). I?ve had the boat about 5 years now and have never had any problems. Every year the boat goes in for service to catch up on maint items at a local shop where the guys seem very knowledgeable. Before last season the drive had all new seals put into it along with water pump. Late last season the boat started losing drive oil, the reservoir would drop about a ? of an inch every time I used the boat (about 4 hours of boating). Took the boat in for service several times and they couldn?t find anything. They pulled the drive and pressure tested to 15 psi and it held for over a week. I can?t seem to find the leak inside or outside. I never see oil in the boat, on the water or on the drive. Any ideas where it's going?

Thanks, Chuck.

simple check....remove the resoviour, plug the line in the bottom, pressure check again with the unit on the boat....can be the line itself or theconnector in he bell housing.thats where mine was

Re: Alpha One Oil Leak

I take that back I've never owned a boat that had one. I do remember a friend that had one on an Alpha I outdrive. He never had any problems out of it.
