Alpha One oil

Which oil I have to use for Mercruiser Alpha One 1997 ,because I am in Eastern Europe and can't find original Mercruiser oil. Can I use some automotive gear oil.

Ayuh,... Use a hi-quality Full Syn.-oil in 75W-90,....
