I just purchased a 1986 SRV230 Cuddy and the trim rams are a disaster and completely corroded and falling apart. I'd like to replace both of them however the serial numbers on the casting are completely gone and I can't identify which trim rams I have. It looks like there are several different versions including a Power Trim XD version which I believe they started making a year after my boat was made? Will a set of Power Trim XDs bolt up even if my current trim rams are not Power Trim XDs? Any way to identify exactly what parts I have if I can't get a serial number off them?

From what I can tell, it looks like the alpha 1 gen 1 trim cylinders were all the same from 83 to 90
8M0108284 and 8M0118960

Thanks, I measured the cylinder body and it was pretty close to 16 3/16 so I ordered those two part numbers, got a good deal off an eBay listing. Thank you!!
