I have an alpha one drive that got stuck in the down position on the lake. Couldn't get it up to trailer home so I pulled the the trim cylinder pin by the prop to release the drive. I fixed the electrical issue but now I need to know how to reset the cylinders so the trim position will match the gauge. I can't put the drive in its lowest position since it hits the trailer. What option do I have? I tried extending the rams to there full extension and installing the cylinder pin but that still doesn't match to the gauge.

Howdy,

You have some other problem with the trim gage circuit. The trim cyls have nothing to do with the trim gage (sender).

It's just a simple variable resistor on the side of the drive. There is slight adjustment possible by loosening the screws at the sender and moving (turning) it in the slots provided.

Here's a great Youtube video on changing the trim limit and sender for a Bravo. Your Alpha is similar.
