Alpha One Trim Issue

So yesterday we take the boat out and I trim the outdrive all the way down so we can get on plane....Alpha One.... We are up and I trim the outdrive up a bit....nothing....it won't move. So I stop...won't come up. Out of curiosity I push the trailer button and it works ok. I put the drive back down and try the up button again...no luck. BUT if I push the trailer button for just a few seconds then the up button will work. What is going on? Do I need to adjust the trim limit swith or something???

What year is this "Alpha I" ?
Probably just the trim limit switch but without some testing, who knows. I can post a link to the manual, if I knew which drive you really have.

I am pretty sure the year of my Alpha One is 1988 or 1989...

Thanks for the link...helped. Trim Limit was out of adjustment....easy fix!!!
