is there a gasket that goes between the lower unit and upper? and is ther any other gaskets or seals i should change while its apart besides the water pump?? thanks
no gasket between the upper and the lower. there is a oring type seal that seals the gear lub passage between the upper and lower. don't forget that one.
other seals to change... maybe the seal at the bottom of the upper and perhaps the water pump base seal...
