Hey guys my trim sender puck went bad.... I dont really want to pull everything off to fix it. How do i bypass it with the trim limit? Also how do i know what wire goes to a relay and the other goes to the pump?

Ayuh,.... Welcome Aboard,.... At the transom, you'll find 4 little wires in groups of 2,....

1 group is the trim sender that goes to the gauge,...
The other 2 are the trim limit switch,...
Disconnect these 2, 'n hook the 2 wires from the trim pump together,...
The 2 from the limit switch, just tie up outa the way of things,....

Ayuh,.... This is a side loop of wirin',.... The Up circuit from the switch at the handle goes through the limit switch, back to the pump,....
The Trailer switch, just by-passes the limit switch circuit, 'n goes directly to the pump,....

If the sender quit, Don't worry 'bout it,.... It'll all still be there when ya decide to fix it,...
It ain't hurtin' nothin' the way it is,...
The sender just gives a varyin' ground to the gauge,...

The wires comin' in from the limit switch, 'n sender are just plain ole black wires,...

There is connector with a purple/white wire and one with two blue/white wires. Unplug the black wires and with a piece of wire, hook the two connectors together. The trim will work with no limit.
