Alternative Flooring Materials - Anyone Have Experience?

Hi - I'm reflooring my '83 Lund 18' fishing boat. It was originally equipped with carpet covered plywood floors. I'm thinking about using maintenance free decking for at least the main floor and casting decks. I'd have to use plywood or some alternative maintenance free material for the various hatch doors. <br /><br />Anyone done this? <br /><br />I'm concerned about added weight and I know that dimensionally these materials will probably be too thick to be used as a direct replacement for the plywood. <br /><br />Thanks.
