Alternator going bad ?

As I climb in RPM's, my lights get brighter, and my horn will not work until 2800 RPMS ???????

I always sound like a broken record.....but it's time to get a volt meter and do some testing. Could be a battery with a weak or bad cel, could be a bad connection,could be some other device that is causing the voltage to sag untill the alternator is putting out maximum voltage (above 2000 rpm). Or it could be a bad alternator.

or, if engine starts ok, could be corrosion in harness plug.
