Alternator output

Anbody with knowledge on how to increase alternator output on a Yamaha 4 stroke F60.<br />Would there be any damage to the engine if a regular marine alternator is adapted to be powered by the flywheel?<br /><br />Any comments will be appreciated

cant see why the engine would be damaged<br />would like to see the pictures of that<br />frankenoutboard when you are done though.

hello<br /> I have never sen it done but there is a company here that modifies the motors and adapts a hydraulic pump for pot pullers to them. I think its in wilmington NC.<br /> if they can adapt a pump I guess you could adapt an altenator. merc did it.
