Alumacraft 14ft Used Boat. Seems narrow. Are all this size

Aluminum boats come in widths usually designated in inches, like 24, 30, 36, 40, 60, etc. according to what they're used for....my aluminum Jon boat is an 1870, indicating 18 feet long and 70 inches wide back at the transom...It all depends on what you want and need...

The boat's age will also play into the width in my experience. Older boats, like this one, tend to be "skinnier" than the new stuff.
