I have an older Alumacraft V-hull fishing boat 14' long. I also have the original Aluminium oars but one of the oar horns reciently broke. The shank broke away from the oar horn. It looks like the 5/8" shank had a steel pin at its core and the steel pin went up through the bottom of the oar horn and was fastened to make the whole oar horn assembly. It was the steel pin that snapped. I contacted Alumacraft to see if they still had this part or the whole oar horn assembly but they do not. Does anyone know where else I could find a 5/8" wide aluminium shank with a steel pin coming out of it?

Figured it out. The Oar horn had been repaired once before, from the looks of it along time ago. The steel core was a bolt. Replaced the snapped bolt and the oar horn is now one again. Thanks for looking.
