Re: aluminum trailer value?

i have seen many trailers just like that on ebay for around 1200-1500 dollars new. If it is in new condition but used, the prices really vary based on how bad the person selling it needs money. Iv seen some steals in the 600$ range but they are VERY rare. I would sell that for at least 1k if i had it up for sale.

does yours have brakes on it also? If so its worth even more.

heres one like you have for 1400$ on ebay as reference

Re: aluminum trailer value?

My trailer does not have brakes on it. The whole reason why I am asking is because the inner part of the tires are wearing excessively. The tires are cambered inward, creating negative camber. I was just quoted $750 for a axle today. The guy at the trailer shop told me that if it is was his boat, he would just keep putting tires on it. I am not sure how I feel about the bunk set up either, with just 2 vertical bunks it doesn't "cradle" the boat like I think I a "conventional" boat trailer does.

I just found this on craigslist... http://oklahomacity.craigslist.org/boa/1222100262.html. I tried googling "Dacus trailers" and I didn't find anything.

Here in coastal Florida, every trailer is bunked like that. They're known as "float-on bunks".
