am i Missing something

I have a 1960 Johnson 75 hp with spark issues i think this motor has sat for eleven years and it started right up well when i wired in the ignition switch i fried the magnito and condenser so i replaced them, but now i cant get it to start tonight i am planning on cleaning the points and mag contacts with the rotor and checking the spark before and after so my question is what to clean the points with and am i missing something? It does have spark just not sure if it is enough thanks in advance

Just clean them with light emery paper.

When you're done the spark at the plug should jump a 1/4" open air gap.

ok so i tested the spark and got spark on one side and not the other i can not even get a backfire just turns nothing i have an idea that the timing might be off and i didnt get a chance to clean the points to get spark on the other cylinders so let me recap i got spark on one side and have no firering happening so this is my plan im am cleaning and gapping the points this weekend and try to figure out the timing issue if anyone has a better idea that could help this move along that would be great thanks again

I would think you need to clean and gap both sets of points to achieve spark on all four cylinders. It sounds like you are on your way....
