Does AMC stand for something? I tried looking up a value for a boat on the NADA Guide and I cannot find AMC so I was thinking it was an abbreviation for something.

Re: AMC Boats

AMC is the name of a car company American Motors Corporation...as far as I know this company never made any boats.

It is possible there was another AMC that produced boats.

On the other hand, are you sure AMC is what your looking for?

AMF is a company that has a long history that did include many years producing boats. AMF = American Machine and Foundry. They owned and produced SlickCraft boats from 1969-1980. They also had a few other boat companies in that timeframe.
