Ammount of CSM for Boat Deck

I am getting ready to order my Fiberglass supplies for my Deck replacement.

Does about 20 square yds of 1.5oz CSM sound about right? or should I use something else like a 6oz Cloth? Id like to order a little too much than too little

How much Poly Resin should I buy?

I doubt anyone can make a good "guesstimate" without know what you are working on.......

Is the boat a 12 footer or just about the size of the Queen Mary??

Probably need a bit more information....... is it new decking? what about the stringer's? Transom???

Thought I put "17' Boat Deck" in the Title, Its a Wellcraft Classic 170

I have replaced the stringers, and will be laying a new deck as soon as I get the stringers coated in resin and fiberglassed in place.

The CSM should be twice the deck square footage since you would want to adhere a layer to both sides of the deck
