Is it possible to hook up a amp meter backwards. Shows - when running after small batt. Discharge. Shows + when a load is put on the batt. TjanksRi ch

never tried it but I would have thought you could wire it backwards and it would read backwards

sure you can if it's one which can show plus and minus. Just use the "opposite polarity".

Yes you can. If it reads + when the motor is off and goes more + as more accessories are turned on, you need to reverse the connections. This is if it was installed correctly. It has to be connected in series on the positive accessory cable from the battery
