Hi I just bought my first boat that has a 1990 mercury 115 hp motor. I was thinking of using amsoil intercepter synthetic oil for the injection. This oil works good for me in my sleds and jet ski so I figure it cant hurt in the outboard. Does anyone have any opinions on this or use it themselves? Thanks

If it's rated TCW3, it'll run fine. I wouldn't spend that kind of money.

I do run full synthetic in the XR4, probably overkill, but I run it pretty hard. I use PenZoil full synth. at 25 bucks a gallon or less.

hope it helps
