Hello everyone. Last August I repowered my pontoon to a 2018 Mercury 115hp Commandthrust. I have the Bluetooth vessel view and the analog gauge adapter harness. Currently my trim/tilt gauge and speedo work fine. But for the life of me I can't get my analog Faria 13004 Coral 100-250 temp gauge to work. I can read the current engine temps via vesselview app. I just prefer to have the pertinent info easily accessible. Thoughts? Is it an ohms issue where you need specific temp gauges to read it properly? Any ideas on what I could prove for with a multi-meter to verify the wiring is giving the sensor proper info?

Sometimes outboards have simple overheat sensors. They read open until the motor overheats and then they ground.

Obviously you need a temp sensor with a resistance range.
