I'm currently restoring a 1989 Four WInns Vista 315. I'm replacing a lot of with new parts as I am currently painting the vessel. Can anyone provide me with some direction as to how to find a white roller replacement since this one is cracked apart in the center and has had better days? I f you note in the attached picture. the roller appears to be welded in place. Is it easy to find someone to reweld a new roller into this? This unit is mounted to the underside of the pulpit. Thanks!

Look at trailer rollers for replacement. If the original is welded in, either cut it off and drill and use a bolt or cut it out and re weld new roller axle in. Hard to say, that pic doesn't show the roller axle attachment.

You sure the shaft is welded? Welding heat would tend to melt the roller. Maybe the shaft is peened in place.

Any brand markings on the piece? And what is the width? A bow roller may do the job if the brand isn't visible.

I'm attaching a second picture...you might be correct that it may be peened in place. There are no markings and I can't replace it with a bolt as there is no room between this unit and the pulpit......stupid design IMO. I checked the rollers at West Marine and could not find this size with the separation in the center. I'm currently out of state so I can't measure the actual length until next week once I'm back.
