Anchor Winches???

Ok guys I'm reachin out to the wealth of knowledge on this forum. I want to install a windlass anchor winch on my boat. Only thing is I don't have the launching mechanism already installed on the bow. My question is do they make attachments for the bow to lay the anchor on and if so is anyone familiar with any good websites? What good is the winch if the anchor has nothing to sit on. I've been looking on the internet but haven't come across anything as of yet. Thanks guys!!!

<br /><br />There are several styles and sizes. Some are designed for a particular anchor style or size.<br /><br />I would go to a marine center and look at them to determine which one will meet your needs.

What kind of boat do you have Ant??I once owned a 24ft Searay and I made a wood pulpit with an anchor davit and installed it.Came out great.Charlie
